Yeah, it’s called the United States.
Yeah, it’s called the United States.
Ah, yes, the “You don’t know X” defense. One where you don’t actually have a valid response and are just being an asshole to be an asshole. Female skin looks like skin, it’s not all one flat shade of off white, it has marks, it has scars, it rises and falls with the musculature and bone underneath, it has different…
It's probably too violent for LEGO standards.
What does it even mean to “run their course”? That literally sounds like “fuck it”.
He is correct about cheap, limitless supply. That was not the case previously when the bulk of projected future supply was within the opec cartel. Today reserves that are cheap and sizeable exist in many places around the globe. And vast reserves of even cheaper NG will displace oil from many of its current uses.
What most people don’t realize is that the UN was basically being paid off by Saddam which is why he was allowed to break 17 or 18 resolutions and throw out the inspectors. Its hard to get credible intel when the UN is working hard to make sure you can’t.
Even after being part of the crew that brought about one of the worst foreign policy decisions of all time
I like how the Bush administration’s decision to go to war is blamed on their incompetence, deceit (of the public), and/or ulterior motives. But the real question is: How many other presidents would’ve made the same decision to go to war with the same/better/different intelligence? I’m willing to bet that quite a few…
Where do you draw the line though? At what point do you not attack a military convoy or encampment because there might be civilians present? That sounds like a good way to lose every battle you ever encounter.
What facile tripe.
Wait a minute.... More than a quarter of a million surrendered. These were armed military units moving intact.
If you’re driving a car that was used in a bank robbery, and there’s three bank robbers in the car, weapons, and cash, I would say that maybe you’re part of the robbery crew.
300,000 of them solved their problem by walking south and surrendering. These were military units well armed and retreating intact, and therefore were legitimate military targets.
It was in nazi Germany too. The blame rests with the Iraqis 100%.
Yea, Japan has been itching for a fight ever since Hiroshima...
It also remains one of the bloodiest moments in modern warfare that some would argue was entirely unjustified.
Calm down Francis.
...Which would also kill us all.
I...kinda agree. I’ve always held FA to a higher standard and while the gif doesn’t represent the meat that is still present, its certainly a less convincing package.
Seriously, with that animated GIF? I realize that it’s still Gawker here, but I thought this was the grownup section. Especially since the article attached was sober and non-sensationalist. C’mon, we’re better than that.
