Kerry obviously doesn't live in the real world where other Nations don't necessarily do what's in the best interest of the good old U.S.A., and when faced with unpalatable options, will use whatever tools they have available for self preservation (or national/political interest).

I'm not sure what the large offshore turbines cost per unit. I found an article noting 1.81M € per unit. Just guessing but lets say building 70K gets the cost per unit down to .9M €, . A 70K array would cost ≈ 65 Billion €. (That's a lot of moola).

I wish I still had mine.

With the US national debt on track to hit 20trillion in < 5yrs, unfunded liabilities already > 100trillion and the Fed Gov not willing to do anything to cut spending, I think most of our cities will be decaying from neglected infrastructure.

"micro solar panels", that's funny. Reminds me of the car Homer designed.

It wasn't just the amazing sets -

Ha, my favorite zombie movie, thanks!

Teller was an American hero, plain and simple.

Someone has to dust those panels, seriously.

Good points, also, I was shocked to learn how short a lifespan PV solar panels have (25yrs). When I was having my house built I looked into having solar, but $30K was too much capital to invest for the short life span. Also, there was no guarantee that the local utility would continue to pay "X" for my excess volts.

Did you read the book? It was about an EMP attack. Something we really should be worried about, and prioritize higher then climate change.

That would require an Oxygen rich atmosphere. No one is suggesting that.

Yes, well you see all through the late 90s/early 2000s the proponents of global warming theory (mostly the media and media figures such as Gore) never missed an opportunity to use local weather as evidence of global warming. Now that the weather isn't cooperating, suddenly it's important to point out the difference

Cool Video

"If this idea, one of several, is correct, noctilucent clouds are a sort of "canary in a coal mine" for one of the most important greenhouse gases. And that, says Russell, is a great reason to study them."

I totally agree with your comments regarding the Moon. Growing up in the 70s, it seemed so obvious.

Loved the first movie, accept the accents. I would have expected vikings to sound, Norse)

Young Hillary? Ewww, there's some coitus interruptus for you.

Finally, it's such a relief to me that the "Consensus" of warming has been upheld by a new study from 2 researchers, that points out the errors made by the Met Office, who's own published findings were above reproach and "Settled Science". Now, it's settled.

Most JetSkiers are familiar with the destructive capabilities of cavitation.
