No, I’m quite credibly antagonistic and it’s for good reason. I stated what I wanted as an answer to “What do you want?” and then explained why I wanted it to someone who asked “Why?”.

Oh my god, we can’t even escape you types on other websites! I lurk on some wrestling boards and the use of the term “midget” to refer to anyone under 8' and 5000 lbs of roided out fury is just bananas.

That bible story is also a good example of how the industry gaslights all the time. “No, bro, it’s just extended coverage!” My ass.

Always good to hear from others who’ve been there. I still do it from time to time freelance and for a few competitions and non-profit fellowships but that work has been harder and harder to find. And frankly less and less rewarding. I had a pretty big client with a hip pocket deal at Warners a few years back but the

It *was* great! But I also sometimes use him as a cautionary tale to my screenwriting students. He got on the list and Jason Bateman picked up the script and got it made. And that’s fantastic! But it hasn’t lead to further movies getting made. He’s had three other scripts in development hell for the last decade. He

Totally. Truth be told a buddy of mine was ON the Black List and his script got made because of it. (Bad Words) I respect its history as you mention. But you’re right, it has changed for the worst.

One of the problems of the Black List is that a lot of the scripts that get put on that list are high on concept and low on actual quality. Executives can LIKE a script that’s actually a piece of shit but fun to read. I have learned from personal experience as an industry story analyst that the Black List is almost

You might correctly surmise from my answers that I DO own a PSVR2 headset. And since there is no other port for THAT to plug into, that leaves one USB port in the front, in which my charge cord is plugged. And I own two DualSense controllers as well as the Sense controllers for the VR2. I bought the Sense controller

That’s a fair point on the pricing but if you’re buying a PS5 *PRO* you’re not one of the “plenty of gamers” who are content to just have a few games installed. Who would the Pro be aimed at? Cuz I don’t think it’s casuals who just pop on for the occasional round of the most recent Call of Duty or Spiderman 2. And

Ditto the wrist strap on the Sense controllers. The dongle that keeps the strap attached to the main body is weak, cheap plastic.

For me it was the right. But I agree.

YMMV but my original controller also had stick drift. I’ve replaced it and the new one has lasted longer. It’s a common issue but obviously not every controller suffers from it.

1 - More storage space. It’s been mentioned in other comments but if these games are gonna be that f’ing big the system storage needs to be that f’ing big. Don’t make me spend another hundred f’ing bucks on expandable memory that I have to open the system up to add.

That’s a fair criticism of those sequences. I mostly enjoy them but I totally understand why someone might get tired. And as the series goes on they do tend to gild the lily. The first one is the best one both for narrative clarity and action sequences.

The fight choreography is more efficient, true, but the character is also quite different. I wouldn’t call that a “vast improvement” but then I don’t have a problem with the Wick fights. The fights are not the problem with that series, the increasingly stupid and unnecessary world-building is.

On a related note, anyone hear anything about The Chair coming back any time soon?

As much as I enjoyed the action choreography in Nobody I thought it had a kind of unpleasant undercurrent of “If you’re not willing to go ultraviolent for the sake of your family’s perceived safety then you’re not a Real Man.” Maybe that was unintentional but I’m not the only one who felt it.

No. Guns in movies don’t bother me. I’m a John Woo fan. I love the Mariachi Trilogy and the first Matrix (and many of the shootouts in the sequels). I may be one of like a dozen or so people who like Last Man Standing, the Western Yojimbo adaptation starring Bruce Willis. I play a LOT of video games full of guns and

I’ll be honest, I just got the set like the day before I posted so I hadn’t started watching. Having now made it through a chunk of the first season so far it seems like the music is intact. Which actually may go some way towards explaining why DVD and why the packaging is so lame. They might have done the calculus
