This is funny to read years later, after it’s been thouroughly dissected. Even the person you’re referencing put out a response where they only focus on defending their claims of asians in the region, and even then nothing that would suggest one would run into any of them in the villages of the place or. time period.

It matters to people of nations who to this day suffer real consequences of ww2. Something you in the US like to pretend to know about, but really, really do not. I dont care, honestly I dont, its a fun game (BF) still, but acting like the victims here are the women being protested is astonishingly shocking to me.

You should really research this more. Saying the US had 300k women in combat roles during ww2 just makes you look naive, at best.

This bothers me a lot. Games as a service should be platform agnostic. You can still limit PVP to 1 platform, so that’s not an issue.

It’s clearly not NASCAR.

Even though I despise both touch and joypad controls for FPS I enjoyed this article.

Pretty amazing how far mobile gaming has come. Just let me dock my phone like a laptop and I won’t need a PC anymore pretty soon. Or a console (prehaps sooner).

It’d be like waking up from a dreamless sleep, or maybe an anaesthetic. Not much there to cause any real trauma. The moments before going, though, that’d do it.

That’s a pretty good point.

Easily. Probably not, but they could do it. I wish they would.

Yeah, kind of sad why we all knew at that moment, too.

My only real memory of mid 90's internet was looking at a super small RealPlayer video of Mario Kart 64 on n64.com in 1996. I was at a library and I thought it was amazing.

BF1942, while multiplayer only, had some very nice maps based on african battles.

BF1 would have us believe that “first” already happened in WW1. Who to trust?

While BF1 was a breath of fresh air with inclusion of stuff like the Isonzo front (part of which occurred on territories of my country), there’s almost no representation of the resistance against Italian fascists during WW2. There’s so much untapped material there, I’d love future WW2 games to focus on more than just

People don’t care. There’s parts of the world that have gotten used to games being “free” through piracy and they’re not giving that up anytime soon. I live in a place where practically everyone hacks their machines as soon as that becomes possible. I just hope the bigger markets with higher standards of living feel

I know at the very least that my entire home market and every country south of it is *very* interested in this for piracy reasons. Historically, this part of the worlds’ gamers had no issue with stealing software while buying literally zero games, which saddens me greatly.

How so, WW2 was the best selling game of 2017. By no criteria is it dying.

Full stop? Nah. Especially with how varying laws on this are all over the world. And it’s a lot more to do with the power than anything else you wish it did, for whatever reason.

The second consoles abandon physical games I’m out of these disgusting little walled gardens.
