Different servers don’t preclude cross-save, only cross-play. There’s really no good reason to exclude cross-save, other than business considerations.

I’ve been saying this since they announced Destiny 2 was coming to PC. It’s such a perfect solution that would make life so much easier. Walled gardens suck and console platform holders are the biggest offenders, yet they rarely catch any flack for it. They should.
