@tseliot: I like using SyFy, because in my language, "syf" is a colloquialism for "awful mess", and "syfy" is its plural form. So it fits nicely.

@Eriah: E-mail one of the editors at the gawker site you were starred on, they'll help you get it back.
@atdaysend: Heh, I love meat too much, if a girl insisted on me going vegetarian for her, it would be a clear sign that it wouldn't work out for us.
@Arken: I was just talking generally about how I see the ratings work, not that there was/is/will be anything overtly sexual in the franchise.
@Knight_of_Pentacles: Oh, they will have to avoid anything sexual, watch out for swearing, and any violence short of slow and gruesome close-ups should be OK.
@corpore-metal: I don't understand why people all over the internet misspell names of major characters, often on boards dedicated to those characters or their franchises.

I'm sad, because I basically grew up with Stargate, and it's one of the reasons I like sci-fi so much.
@forevermac: Nope, slavic language, and we have some double negatives in our common language, but it's considered slightly "ugly" in more official instances.

@tralfaz23: Yeah, it seems it looks better and better. But I'm trying to convince myself it will suck. That way, I won't be disappointed if it will indeed be crappy, and I'll have a nice surprise if it's good.
@GamerKT: Is it lead lined?
@forevermac: You're right. Double negative. Well, I have an excuse: English is my second language. And I don't get to use it outside of the internet.
@MikeofLA: Well, 3rd and 4th are from 1872. Second and 5th are from 1937. Can't see any date on the first one.
What if I don't have neither and prefer to refresh you homepage every hour or so?
@phatnacky: Nuke it from orbit, aye.
@Marand: The same (different than the rest of the gawker bunch) goes for io9, but we seem to take it a bit better over there. People are less up in arms about all of this.
@djscruffy: You have to remember that the Japanese are mostly a totally different culture, with different social norms and arrangements. While it's weird and uncomfortable for us, it's something they do.
@Platypus Man: Whew, it appears that neither my e-mail, nor my username was released.
