With the possible exception of Dallas, that is true of most urban centers even in the reddest of states.  We don't really have a red state/blue state divide in this country but a urban/rural one. One makes the money and drives the economy and one whines a lot about how unappreciated they are.

The character work in Saul is way better. It was fun to watch Walter White twirl his mustache, sure. But I never really gave a crap about his relationship with his wife and son because they never seemed like more than foils for Walter. The problem with the “stuff that actually happened in Breaking Bad” is that by season 5 it was Wiley Coyote levels of cartoony. They destroy evidence by backing up a huge magnet on a truck against the wall of the evidence room.  I mean-come on.

“Better Call Saul” is actually the better show. “Breaking Bad” was good but super melodramatic and cartoony. “Saul” is about actual people that you care about.
