I think it is very likely that Mueller will truthfully conclude that while the Trump campaign was relentlessly used by the Russians, Trump is himself way too stupid to have known what he was doing was illegal. Mueller is required to turn it over to the AG and ONLY the AG.  He can say nothing to anybody else about it.  By law, the report is confidential to the DOJ.  The Democrats can try for subpoenas all they want, no court is going to grant them.

If the report concludes that there was no crime (possibly because Trump is too dumb to have formed the necessary intent to commit one) then the only thing we’ll ever see out of this report is a DOJ spokesman stating that no grounds was found for further prosecution. That’s it.
