@Justin: I 100% promise you you don't need an iPad. I also doubt that an iPad is more "useful" than a $500 laptop.

@Justin: And you own an iPad? Unlikely.

@Justin: Cool for you. Anyone watching you would definitely think you're an idiot.

@Tim Gee: I wish I was paying £9k.

Silly British people. Don't you know we Yanks already pay 10 times more than you?

@pist: How bout we stop having both a standing army and a nuclear deterrent?

Why would anyone have a need for a camera on the back of their iPad? You'd look like an idiot holding a 10" tablet up trying to take a picture with it like it was a digital camera.

@Alicemagic: Flash is magnitudes slower than RAM. Though what you're talking about is a software issue, not a hardware one. The geniuses over in Cupertino simply chose not to implement it in a way that is convenient to anyone. They might fix it, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I hate environmentalists, etc. that think the best way to save the Earth is to inconvenience people.

@Rob C: No, you misunderstand me. Forget web. The web was so 1990-2010. I'm talking about using an interface device to remotely control server farms, like OnLive's microconsole does. Except that concept could be put to work in anything. As in, laptops with no guts (except communication and video decoding), iPads

Also. They didn't have bongs built into their suits.

@Rob C: But why? Why not cut the cloud crap and just have remote processing? I'm talkin bout you, OnLive.

@DeadlyForceInstructor: The fact that they've used journalism as protection many times. Like when they bought that iPhone 4 pre-release. Oh, and the whole fact that they get paid to report. Even if what they're reporting is trivial.

the models in that screenshot look like crap.

@SexCpotatoes: How bout every time someone assaults a police officer, police come to your home and assault you?

@KamWrex: Seriously. I can't say enough how much this article pisses me off. It's misleading and sensationalist... trying to ride the train of anger against police misconduct with out of context information.

@me_eit001: They haven't stopped investigating them. They're only investigating ones where there is a report of police abuse. Important difference.
