I like the blu ray drive deal. More PC components!

Just a thought...

I've always thought this was a non-issue, that everyone under 35 thought this was a silly debate because it's a fairly clear case of civil rights. But one of my good friends, also 21, is completely against it on the basis that it's "violating the sanctity of marriage" and wouldn't listen to arguments to the contrary.

@macfan64: I think it seems like that, but the 10 Commandments happen to largely align with universal ethical code. That might have been the intention originally, but the country and the world continue to move towards the secular, for better or worse.

@BenjiS: There's 749 million rea$ons.

@metronome49: It's useless to me until I can control my iPhone from my computer (without Jailbreaking). Like reverse Remote.

@The Squid: Ok. So where's the BlackWii?

@Dancing Milkcarton: In all fairness, Apple has been loosing to Microsoft in the security department quite a bit recently.

Wait... how does BB6 WiFi sync leapfrog Froyo?

@a sexy hot dog: Entrenched? Yes. Best? Debatable. IT will stick with RIM for years because of BlackBerry server and the general crawl of IT. I know doctors and bankers across the country are switching from RIM to iPhones, and many small to medium businesses are doing the same.

@Radioheadonist: If by "creative engineering" you're talking about the antenna/other problems with the iPhone 4, then you're not talking about what I'm talking about. Those are mistakes in engineering and QA coupled with stupid business choices, not creativity.

I think this goes to show that no amount of marketing hype or business strategy can overcome a lack of creative engineering. This phone is about as unimpressive to me as any other BlackBerry has made in the past 5 years (with the Storm having potential decimated by a glitchy OS). I see this being the beginning of

I don't understand why the computing world hasn't moved services and software to servers in a more convincing way. All this cloud nonsense is rubbish. I mean, yah loads of people use Google Docs and whatnot, Onlive is working on games, and there is a version of Photoshop online, but where the hell are full programs?

I know it's been said before, but I still don't get why they can't figure this one out. It's obvious.

@laylaholic: Why do that when congress found a money tree?

Now if only they'd improve their cell towers to properly utilize all that optics.

@Lyokowarirtitan: Need to cover the trucks in spikes and machine guns, too.

@acidrain69: I just started working at a company that builds the core routers for telecoms. Even as an engineer I was totally oblivious to what the actual infrastructure was like. It's impressive.
