This is not for everyone, and doesn’t help those who need this now. But I use google voice, and don’t have to worry about this my text messages at all while moving between devices. Having said that I haven’t used google voice on the iPhone, so I don’t know how well it works there, but I suspect it’s usable.

I have had good results with binaurals. I use Mindroid. I use a custom decreasing scale that goes from 10 Hz down to 2 Hz.
Someone should write an app that plays an annoying loud high pitched noise by pressing a button - like that tone that plays when old-school land-lines were left off the hook. Should be fun on the receiving end of that headset. I’d even pay for it.

There are tools that let you export from PST to other formats, including posting to gmail - just google them - they will more than likely not be free. Also, if you or someone you know can do a bit of scripting, you can export them to text files.
