Also, there are people like me who are severely allergic to IVP dye. They use this dye a few months post procedure to ensure that scare tissue has developed around the coils.

My Mirena was hella painful also. Not just during sex but ALL THE TIME. My gyno was skeptical but she ordered an ultrasound anyway. 'Sho 'nuff, the fucker was embedded in my uterus and she pulled it out for me right away and apologized her ass off. I told her don't worry. I just wanted that thing out of my body.

I really had to twisty my gyno's arm to give me a hysterectomy at 34. What worked was that I told her that my quality of life was suffering because of my endometriosis, hormonal birth control, long heavy periods, etc.... and that I hate kids.
