I liked Pike’s comment about getting rid of the holographic displays on the Enterprise and sticking to old fashioned view screens. Makes me confident that we’ll never actually see Discovery’s take on the Enterprise bridge and we can just image that it looks like it did in TOS.

I hear you. You learn about shield reflection and some of the other tricks early on but I was still getting used to the game so I completely forgot about them when I needed them later on.

I remember seeing the trailer for the Happytime Murders and thought that it looked like a funny concept but then I don’t remember it coming out or anyone talking about it. Was it really that bad?

Goodness, I never imagined that the NES could handle a game like SimCity. Can you save your citys? If so those would be like the biggest save files on the system.

The first SimCity I played was on the Macintosh. But I also played the DOS version of SimEarth and SimAnt. I wish they made more of those games.

That’s pretty much what I do too. I have the GameCube adapter and controllers but my toddler makes sure that’s not a viable option when he’s awake and when he’s asleep I’m in bed and can only play handheld.

I worked at a hospital in IT and pagers are the only thing that worked in some parts of the building (or on a ski slope - I live in Colorado). I was kinda sad to give it up when I left that job.

This is unfortunately missing the excellent Steam Workshop components that the PC version has. But I’ll buy this collection for the 4th(?) time so I can play this on the go. (And like the 100th time I’ve bought Sonic 1)

I’ve seen an explanation on that being that it is due to there not existing a federal terrorism charge for those not tied to a foreign group. So legally a ‘terrorist’ is only someone tied to a foreign group like ISIS or whatever.

I’ve been getting symptoms of the ‘Antennagate 2.0' issue but I’m on an iPhone 7. For some reason my Sprint LTE service has been going to shit over the past few weeks and I have to switch to 3G regularly. Doesn’t make any sense and resetting network settings doesn’t help. I’m wondering if the iPhone XS reported issue…

I guess I need to play this now. I worked at a hospital for 8 years and I wonder how accurately it represents the IT department’s role. Do you have a sufficiently sized server room? Can you chose your EMR? Do vendors try to schmooze you all the time to buy their overpriced gadgets?
