Lower end cars like that are used in cities & by normal patrols. Motorway/Freeway patrols all go for the high end stuff, as do the specialist units because, hell who wouldn't :)

Our Police tend to favour high end luxury vehicles (yay taxes). A5, A6, A4, A3, BMW X5, X3, 7 series etc etc
