I feel that what Aston has is something no amount of C or S-class-coupe can give you. The AMG GT though, that’s a contender. Would be a lot easier to be Aston without that around.

Aston has sauve, has British cool. You’re right about the brands above, but they don’t have what Aston has. Porsche, Ferrari and McLaren are too nerdy, too interested in lap times to be cool. Lamborghini is too shouty, Jaguar similar but too pedestrian

I always hated that engine. It came in our Commodore and so many of them had fat disgusting exhausts turning them into horrible droney things. Combined with the slur of the tranny moving up a gear, all it really says is “I wish I’d bought the V8". Add the fact that they supercharged it adding what, 35hp? Why bother…

I have heard it's polite in Paris or even Nice, to leave the handbrake off while parallel parked so other cars can nudge you forwards or back to make room for themselves
