How can Toyota think they can make a mass market car look like that? Disgusting.

No, they don’t accept that standing directly next to a slippery road with incredibly fast cars coming down at full pelt and with zero barriers can be dangerous.

You’re a wizard. This post is awesome. You really made it something.

one of a kind only twelve made

Fair enough. It’s awesome that it still feels new. I’ve owned a few 300ZXs and now an MR2, it’s hard to find a car that old that still feels new. My first Z was something like that, it still looked and felt to be in very good condition. My biggest regret in life is crashing that car.

I still don’t really see what an owner is getting out of it. Even with the video. I mean, there are road tests of these cars from the last 20 years, maybe even this one given the rarity.

How does one get an opportunity to do this?? I assume the car is privately owned, what reason could the owner possibly have for letting a journalist drive such a rare and expensive car?

If his zenki is rattly and feels shit, it’s the condition of the car. I think he’s getting the kouki facelift confused with the age of such an old car.

Just playing RDR for the first time now, the scenery really is awesome

I’ve only ever seen this car in Gran Turismo, knew very little about it in real life. Everything should have a halo model.

The Beetle RSi was sold. Sure, it was expensive and rare, but people took them home. It’s not some pipe dream.

Isn’t this America? Can’t somebody just shoot it?

I’ve got it bad for that Pulsar NX/EXA. Always loved them. Bought a broken one a few years back, but it was too broken :(

Now playing

I’d say there are plenty of crap Chinese cars. They really are built to bottom dollar. But I’ve never really experienced this first hand. This sort of thing says it all, and it’s not even the worse I’ve seen:

You’re ridiculous and completely wrong.

On one hand, no because cars are getting very appliance-y. On the other, if they get worse then maybe some of today’s cars will look better by comparison.

Huge dent in the back? There was a 300SL posted recently with the same thing, what gives?
