Wonder where they put the coolant.

Nobody I know has ever got killed in south central LA

I’d say this justifies the writing.

I don’t really get that. I’d rather my 918 never got chips. I want all of its paint to be from the factory, as god intended.

Ferrari had claimed 200 MPH with the F40, but never really backed it up (at least in the states.)

Really? Hurracan, perhaps. But the Aventador looks like it’s going to kill you, and the Diablo defined Lamborghini before the Murc was even born. I don’t understand.

This is the trickle down we’ve all been waiting for. It starts in the expensive and experimental i cars, then moves to the 7...and from there it’s a straight run down the chain to the 1.

You have a good point - as per VAG, properly luxurious cars can come from more mundane groups of companies. But Lexus seems to be victim to a similar fate as Cadillac: they just aren’t as good at it as the Germans.

Thanks for posting this, really helps to highlight some of the similarities. I don’t think it’s a carbon copy as such, but they’ve definitely lifted some design queues in a very obvious way. They look like evolutions of each other, in the same way the Corvette (generally) keeps the circle tail lights between

Jesus. Right?! I thought it was quite clear it’s an F12. It was even mentioned in the article...

Ah, and the one in the post has a single wide rear window. Fantastic :D

I don’t think I agree with this one. I don’t know too much about the value of old Civics in the US, but from what I can tell cheap economy cars don’t appreciate, ever.

Nothing would feel righter than owning matching F1 and P1

The marketers wanted to tap into Subaru’s very blue history, but they didn’t want to limit sales by only offering a blue car.

A good $30k car might be more compelling. But if I was given the choice of either for a week, I’d take the once-in-a-life-time supercar every single time.

Coloring two random sections of the car different colors isn’t how two-tone works.

I don’t have the side vents on the R200 Non-Fiction

Do they use white cars because they're less likely to fade? Or so they stay cooler?

Oh that’s a dream come true! Awesome. Here’s the one I saw, seems to have seen some love. Didn’t count the windows, but seems like it’s more than 21 am I right?
