They're marketed as healthy and organic. Is it really controversial to admit that some folks will take that at face value, and that companies are wrong to intentionally mislead consumers?

Presumably tired, frazzled parents that are trying to do right by their kids?
Eh, I don’t think it’s meant to be surprising. Can’t the tension/dramatic irony be entertaining in its own right?
Omg seriously? I need to do research
>:(
“Danny’s very straight-acting. He gets mistreated because of that.”
Is this about her using f*ggot a while back? If so, I can’t fucking believeee she’d use “my EMPLOYEES are gay men” as a defense holy shit. That’s nuts. “I use slurs but that’s what my subordinates could be called so it’s cool”. Like girl I’m also a bi woman but that doesn’t give you the right to that vocabulary.....
So what? You think that’s a “gotcha” revelation? All kinds of people from all walks of life struggle with mental disorders and illnesses. They still have to earn a living somehow. They still deserve some modicum of happiness and sanity, or at least not total despair.
Seriously? So, for the purposes of this thought exercise, you can’t put yourself in a financially precarious situation (for your mental well being) if you have a pet?
What are you taking about? It’s one thing to say this is a privileged position (it is). It’s another to act like you know what’s best for someone else’s life. I’ve had friends who were suicidally depressed over their jobs, and no, they weren’t white or men. The quit horrible, toxic situations because the alternative…
Did you read the article? Why are you using he/his pronouns?
That ain’t mutually exclusive with them being gay!
Oh, please. This isn't internalized misogyny. This isn't nit picking her for a wardrobe choice or a thoughtless lyric. She very recently collaborated with a known child rapist. She should absolutely be held accountable for that choice.
She’s never acknowledged that it was wrong to work with a child rapist who profited off his association with her. She needs to if she wants to be a victims advocate.
He was 31.
I don't know, it's an insane thing to do. He clearly felt he was getting something out of it, enough to perpetuate the lie.
He continued to tell the story for years. He couldve demurred if asked to repeat it, say it’s too hard to talk about. But he’s been milking it.
Wow, whoever ratted on her is an absolute shithead. How jaded do you have to be as a healthcare provider to do this to someone who comes to you for services?
I recommend you talk to some people who experience classism *and* racism *and sexism* (or one or the other). I think you’ll be surprised to hear what they think of your assertion.
What do you see as the difference? Isn’t he even more accountable for the projects he decides to star in and direct? I don’t see the problem with acknowledging that he seemingly has zero interest in telling stories with women as key players. No one forced him to make all these male-centric period films.
