it’s just like bathroom etiquette, people have stopped following social norm rules and are all in for their own selfishness. Only burning them (not just threatening) with tickets/boots/tows will get them to even slightly change their behaviour.

You don't have to guess how much your gas's will cost the transaction will end when the gas stops pumping and you will only be charged for what you pumped.

Holy shit...didn't even notice that! Must be a Texas meme I swiped.

Illegal to send a dick pic. But bring your assault rifle anywhere you want. Texas.

She must’ve held them at gunpoint.

Take your star, you freak....  Hahaha!  Too real, unfortunately....

Coming from someone who bought a lightly owned low mileage certified 3-series, I can tell you I will not own this car for 1 day out of warranty. The Pre-owned warranty has already covered $5k+ in repairs for BMW’s lack of electrical engineering knowledge. Which saddens me because I absolutely love this car.... Its a

You missed the “NO LOWBALLS - I KNOW WHAT I HAVE HERE!”

You forgot- NEVER BEEN VAPED IN!!!

On the other end of the FS spectrum...

you’re a positive thinker. I think all the contesting and pursuit of fees will push it to being more of a cost than anything.

And whatever revenue they do pass on for transit improvements, a good chunk of that will also be eaten up by administrative costs.

Prediction: The congestion charge will only just barely pay for the administration and collection of the congestion charge.

We hear about problems with everything from VW to Ford to Subaru, but people have some leftover biases from the ‘70s or whatever when it comes to Alfa Romeo, so there’s a narrative there. It’s been trouble-free, something I couldn’t say about my last two cars, a VW and a Mazda.

That’s good to hear. We all heard about the problems with the early cars, if what you say is true it sounds like they got the bugs worked out

My Giulia has been an absolute joy to own—sounds like the GTV might arrive just around the time I’m getting ready to trade in. If Alfa keeps this up, looks like I’ll be staying with them for a very long time.

I’ve spent years wondering why it’s such a clusterfuck simply getting to the LAX Airport. Absolute nightmare, day or night...

as long as there is someone in the background pushing these kinds of things on in order to make money, we will always see a major cokc up of it.

if all areas of transit are congested and overburdened, then all you are doing is trading the burden of cars and flooding the already overburdened systems with these people. People will just leave NYC and take their spending with them. Then you will see all the businesses in these “congestion pricing” areas fail

That’s not entirely true. It can definitely do both, just among different populations.
