I know I'm going to get the pitchforks and torches after me for saying this, but, this is the perfect car for Alfa to electrify.
convince people the modern buick regal is a decent car
Uhhh, not happening. These Camaro’s, Mustang’s and Chargers... did they realize you were trying to race them? I agree with SlothLovesChunk, I would believe you if you said Grand National or GNX...
buick regal turbo 2016 with 97 octo in the engine. I might not outclass the listed cars in HP or torque, but in the gear shifts and WHP when I am going 40-80MPH leaves a large gap between me and them. At around 100MPH the car does start to flag behind due to the torque.
I did love the seats. Brembos on a Buick too... Made me laugh.
I’m assuming you’ve got a Grand National, because absolutely no stock Regal turbo is pulling on an M3 unless it is the E30.
their best offering is the regal GS or Turbo (not sold anymore). Everything else is meh-terrible.
was there a dead olds alero next to it?
shoutout to olds 88
the engine in the cascada is terrible too.
I, a buick owner can attest that the cascada is crap. I test drove one and was supremely disappointed. The engine is small, fee+small, and actually performs terrible because of how heavy the car is vs. the engine size. It gets worse gas milage than a regal, a similar weight, bigger buick because of this. The engine…
The GS does have a dour interior, but at least the seats are awesome.
They killed Oldsmobile first. B@stards
They killed Pontiac and saved Buick. F*ck GM.
I saw a Buick Reatta pulling out of a parking lot the other day and thought “That’s awesome, you don’t see those any more!” Then I passed it and saw it was broken down with its hazards on and just nodded my head a bit.
And they can’t get up, much like their demographic.
This is precisely why Caddy is in trouble too. They both are shopping the GM parts bin, and if cheap plastic and crap tablets are unforgivable at 40k, they're insulting at 60k+..
To be fair, if I owned a Cascada, I’d rather walk, too.
So my wife and I go mall-walking one day a week during the winter for our low impact workout day. We are usually the youngest people in there by 20 years or so.
