samsung is purposely trying to create its own android environment so it doesn’t have to pay google fees and have google control/nanny/snoop/exploit the android environment. Samsung also wants to prevent the restrictions google puts in place that stops other devs from manipulating the software and drivers.

Yeah, I wish that Samsung and Google would get together on a few of these things.  Samsung hardware, running a more stock version of Android would be a great device.  Maybe One UI will sort of bring Samsung more in line with stock Android, but until they do something about more timely updates and that Bixby button,…

Well this isn’t news. Samsung has always been behind on Android updates. If you buy a Samsung phone then that’s what you accept. On that note the average Joe/Jane on the street really doesn’t care about Android updates(and may not even know what they are).

My question is still, wouldn’t NBC own the dance?  Like any work he did for them, the acting, the lines of dialogue, whatever he did on the show, he wouldn’t own right?

I keep it at 72. probably about halfway through my automotive journey it finally warms up to around there. The heated seats? warm in 60 seconds.

My wife’s last 3 cars have had fancy auto AC controls and she still insists on keeping it off auto. It should irk me so much less than it does.

Are you me? I just got a car with auto climate control and it is glorious. I found that 72 is the sweet spot. I just turn it on and drive. And the auto defrost! I was living my life all wrong before this.

Only lazy soul-less losers that gave up on life would accept to use automatic climate control.

Mine is set around 70. Any warmer than that and SWASS is a distinct possibility in winter duds, an no one wants that. Truth be told, I’m too lazy to remove anything other than my hat and gloves in the winter when inside a car, hence the temperature setting.

The joy of auto climate control is I just leave mine on 72 basically all year, sometimes lowering it in direct sunlight to compensate.  I know some people like controlling in manually so they get blasted in the face by hot or cold air, but I just let the car do the work. Remote start helps too.

Car stops on the road. Chemical engineer says lets check for fuel, probably not getting fuel. Electrical engineer says lets check for spark probably not getting spark. Software engineer says why don’t we just close all the windows and the car should run fine after that.
