The aim assist isn't a "locking" aim assist in most cases. It is most often kind of a weak magnetic force, such that your sensitivity/speed of aiming will slow down slightly when positioned over another player. I know this is how Halo does it, but I have never played a Battlefield game on console.

I always have adblock plus on and it seems to work for all the Gawker sites, I actually just opened Giz in IE to see what/where the ads were, I won't be doing that again...

First, and last MacBook 2,1

the short one and the sitting one have the same face, like copied and pasted and then recolored eyes. You can't unsee it.

This happens all the time in the auto industry, I don't see why Apple is making such a huge fuss (design similarity, not suing over said similarities). Many times the only way you can tell two vehicles from different manufacturers is by their logo and a handful of slight differences.

lol, all I see is that awful, big-eyed "anime face", it just looks blank and emotionless

Agreed. I love my desktop, it is one of the few non-living things I would save in the event of a major natural disaster. I have a nice inexpensive (~650) laptop that handles all my on-the-go needs including a bit of light gaming. I suppose something like this would appeal to someone who wants their primary computer to

The exploration in Oblivion was fun because it was navigable, Morrowind just felt overwhelming at times. I am looking forward to the more dense/populated approach they are taking with Skyrim, that was one thing Morrowind and Oblivion fell short on.

I wonder if one of those "sample materials" is bacon...

*slow clap*

Well, when I was in school, if you were being mocked/taunted/bullied/etc you dealt with it. Play along, make fun of yourself, people will lose interest. School was never "serious business" for me, just more idiots that I had to tolerate before I got my life started. Bottom line, don't feed the trolls, real or internet.

I know what you mean about auto-restart for updates. That can be disabled though. The only reason I can think of for Apple thinking this is a good idea, is the new auto saving feature. In that context, they are only inconveniencing you to the point of having to reopen the application. Do not take this as an Apple

The only problem with this is that the white space is still there in Chrome, in Firefox the white space is removed and the text is formatted accordingly.

the diamonds in question are most likely industrial diamonds which are manufactured, not mined. The cost of synthetic diamonds is usually much lower, as they are not normally desirable for jewelry.

Yeah I didn't notice until last night on AC:B, now it drives me crazy. Kinda like how in M. Night's Avatar, they managed to mispronounce everyone's name, and even "Avatar". That drove me nuts.

I will struggle through the nightmare of motion controlling if I can't use a Classic/GC controller. That's how bad I want this.

I am a super liberal Christian, and I was Agnostic Theist for a while. While I do not claim to be an authority on the matter, the bible pretty clearly states the prerequisites for eternal life (according to Christian faith) in John 3 1-20. This is probably one of the best ways to understand when people quote John

one tweak that is useful is increasing the heap allotment of Java, especially if you use high-res textures

the shield things denote that he is a plainswalker (or something like that), he starts with 4 counters (bottom right) and each of his abilities adds/subtracts counters and one is playable per turn

Okay, Christian Bale is the tank-piloting student of a dying Sean Connery. The military might of the world has been conquered by hordes of invading aliens. Only shells of our civilization are left standing, hollowed out buildings and such. With his dying breath, Sean Connery entrusts Christian Bale with a specially
