The search function is especially hilarious when you’re looking for a pokemon who’s icon is already largely black and white. Like, doing a search for Unown actually makes it harder to find them because all you’ve done is change every other pokemon to a matching color scheme.

You’ll have to party up in order to run the dungeons and trials that are required by the story. Shadowbringers added the Trust system, which lets you run dungeons with the story NPCs, so you can solo some of the content that way. But there’s no way to go through the game completely solo.

For what it’s worth, the overwhelming majority of people who are interested in Metroid Dread will perfectly and legitimately buy a proper copy. Hell, I’d even wager the majority of players running this thing have a perfect legit copy sitting on a collector’s shelf or something.

Until we can get data that breaks down the gender and ethnicity of twitch users, there is no data to correlate with. Ultimately you generate content for your audience. If twitch’s audience is above 85% males 15-55 then the argument sounds weird.

I would like to see the percentage of women that stream outside of “just chatting”. I dont watch that category so I dont come across many female gamers when I am surfing through channels of my favorite games. There are a handful of females I watch, that do play games, but I think the major reasoning for the lopsided…

Here’s an idea. Why doesn’t Kotaku THEMSELVES do something about it? Have a weekly article spotlighting a female streamer. Bonus points if they’re raising money for charity.

You’re literally the only one I’ve seen even bring up the "women streamers don't work as hard" strawman. 

So is Twitch the bad guy for not promoting or the base for not seeking them out or the base for preferring to view male dominated streams (for whatever reason that may be)
