Actually, the wider point I was trying to make was that there was even less reason for him to get assaulted that the article stated. He did absolutely nothing wrong, got caught up in a small misunderstanding with the bouncer, then smashed into the ground.

A small correction - from the later reporting I’ve seen, Martese Johnson wasn’t trying to use a fake id. He had a valid id, but it was issued to an old address, causing some confusion.

I always thought Peyton’s thing was reading the defense, then taking the hole. He wasn’t trying to trick you. He just wanted to force the defense to make a decision, then put the ball into the weak spot they left behind. He almost didn’t care if you knew what play he called, as long as someone had to make a choice he

I mean, I’m in a medium-sized town in Maine and I can get decent tacos and burritos. At this point they’re pretty much everywhere.

Here’s the thing - there was a dispute between the players and the gamblers during the series over money. Because of this, the players actually tried to win several games during the series, as testified to by the ringleaders. During the games the players were trying to win, Jackson hit extraordinarily well (.575

Oh, and to be clear:

If Sharapova is second rate, so is Dwyane Wade. After all, he’s a direct contemporary of Lebron, who’s flat better. Same goes for Drew Brees - he’s good, but both Manning and Brady are significantly better.

In 1995 they commissioned a new US warship that used removable platter hard drives (UYH-3s, to be exact). To change the program, you powered down the drives, retracted the heads and swapped in a new set of platters. As a note, this is also when they finally removed the paper tape punch/reader from the ships as well,

Worst season of Orphan Black ever

In general, I’d be on your side, and so would the Cavs. That’s why they signed him, after all. But the fact that he’s nailed to the bench, somewhere below Mike Miller, even in these dire straights for Cleveland means a whole lot more for the specific case.

Yeah, there wasn't a LeBron/Darko conversation. There was, however, a Lebron/Carmelo discussion after Carmelo starred in the NCAA tournament. And the big shock picks were Darko and Wade, so 1 for 2 there.

Thing is, they weren't measuring them at 30 degrees, nor were they checking pressure. They specifically said they seized the balls to be weighed later. So the temperature (of the lab, which wouldn't be below freezing anyway) shouldn't matter in the slightest.

Because, during #Gamergate, Blizzard paid a Gamespot editor to act as the MC for one of their hype events for the next World of Warcraft expansion. But it was a guy, so as far as I can tell no one doxxed him, or even mentioned it under #gamergate*.

This is really nothing new. New strategies come up in sports all the time, and the sports react to eliminate the ones that they decide "break" the sport.
