Tiny subpoenas

With all that’s going on in the world…” Well Mr Burry, it would be pretty weird if the SEC was subpoenaing people over Afghanistan, COVID, immigration, global warming, or ethnic cleansing in Myanmar, so maybe this is one of the things the SEC should be doing.

Let me assure you that several of my family members definitely still use AOL email, which is insane. I assume they’re still updating their Friendster page too.

Pete Davidson had it right: you can enjoy the art of bad people but you should have to contribute to fixing the problems they cause. So enjoy Remix to Ignition but help fight child marriage and statutory rape.

The point of that is that aim assist is off when using a mouse, which they detect by the mouse being touched. There’s zero chance a controller user without aim assist competes against mouse and keyboard users in a FPS.

Only over the shoulder games I played M/KB were GTAIII and VC (not exactly Gears), but I talked to a friend that played on console. When I mentioned my accuracy, he said even with the auto aim button he couldn’t get close to the same number; I didn’t know auto-aim was a thing. So I’d do all GTA M/KB, even the flying.

I saw these on a Mini in front of me a couple weeks ago and pointed it out to my wife. All they had to do was wrap a Union Jack light cover around both rear corners and the signal would have pointed the correct direction, which I believe is similar to what Jason suggested.

The question of whether Apple’s App Store was a monopoly was answered in Epic v Apple. It’s not. Apple doesn’t have to allow other app stores or side-loading of apps, which would be remedies for a monopoly in that area. It was only determined that their anti-steering policy violated a state law.

Honestly asking as an iOS user, who owned an Android first, what did I win? I don’t play Fortnite and don’t care about Epic at all. In fact, I don’t buy things through apps much at all, but I do want my apps to be secure. I don’t see having external links to additional payment systems as improving app security.

I’d expect Apple to add a hefty, graduated fee for using the App Store they they’re willing to waive if a dev agrees to Apple payment within their apps. They also have always engaged in individual negotiations with big developers, so that will simply continue.

Correction: I thought I’d seen that Apple was also appealing, which appears to not be correct at this time.

Epic should have considered their resounding loss a best case scenario because I can imagine a situation where an appellate court wonders 1) how the ability to use the phone’s built-in to access a website doesn’t solve Epic’s problem 2) why Epic thinks it’s anti-competitive when users can engage via Android or PC or

I have played a lot of GTAV and had no idea there were trans sex workers in the game. It seems like sex workers are more scarce than in previous GTA games, and I don’t go seek them out because I’m not 14. But anyone who is intentionally seeking out NPCs in the manner described is an idiot. Those who upload videos of

Are MCU, (Disney) Star Wars, FastFurious, and Michael Bay movies not close enough to 99% of movie earnings to call it the same?

But is that what the OP said? It is not. Maybe they don’t understand it, but do you know what the job of a writer is? It’s to convey information to the audience, so if you are writing about something most of us have never heard of before (because it was coined in a research paper—maybe, it’s not clear how the PhD

The narrative in those games is so terrible that it made me dislike all Bethesda games (they seem to mostly reskin games anyway). When OG FO was released, you could go explore by following leads from one place to the other. Also the “water purifier is failing we need an EDEN or whatever” wasn’t a “my baby has been

That’s just like your opinion, man.

Halo>>>>CoD.

Or god forbid a gun jams and needs to be discarded because real guns actually jam particularly in adverse conditions when fired repeatedly, such as combat (see War, Korean). It’s a fine mechanic, and if people don’t like it, that’s fine too. No game is for everyone.

Wow two posts both calling the other person a child, you must have some deep thoughts that you failed miserably to share. Maybe you should git gud at writing, nub.

In a word, no. I haven’t played since I completed it, but I never broke a weapon on a Lynel and ran away because I needed to equip a new weapon. I did just run away from Lynels a couple times;)
