I don’t know exactly how it works, but MS has to pay companies (either a flat fee or some percentage) to put games on there. This would apply to new games like Outriders as well as older games, but obviously they’d pay more for a newer or more popular title. Square either screwed up putting the game there (lost

I’m sure the demos on Outriders are heavily skewed toward XB1/X/S users on game pass that never had to buy the game, and this certainly reduces the money Square got from those 3.5 million users. If 3.5 million people buy a big, new release from a digital store, that’s about (price $60 - store cut 30% * number of users

A very brief summary of the SSA baby names is where I got my numbers. The point was that Angel (the guy’s name) is more common as a girl’s name than Skye. As I indicated, Skye peaked at 1388 (~1400) as a boy’s name, yet there have still been over 2000 boys named Skye. If you want to claim you’re Scottish, Welsh,

I don’t know because I’m literally not friends with any literal fascists/anti-semites/white supremacists. It seems like we wouldn’t have much to talk about when I’d have to tell them their views are ignorant, but I guess some people are just more cool with “ideas”.

I remember hearing that if you played your cards right in FFVII, Cloud would go on a date with Barrett instead of Tifa or Aerith. Turns out that is regarded as one of the best RPGs of all time. Maybe CDPR should focus more on making their game good and less on worrying if having a male avatar and a male NPC sex worker

Both names are ambiguous, and I think that’s intentional. While Skye is more common as a girl’s name (yearly 700-800 most common), it’s been a boy’s (as high as 1388) name too. Angel is far more common all around (72 for boys and ~370 for girls), so there are far more girls named Angel than named Skye.

I think Sakurai might be doubly sensitive about this because he’s used to talking directly and precisely to his - often quite needy - audience and he’d rather not risk misunderstandings”

“…GP-P850GM and GP-P750GM tripping at high wattages when tested via DC Electronic Load equipment for extended lengths of time repeatedly close to the 120% to 150% OPP trigger point.”

While it’s nice to hear you’ve stopped stealing other people’s work, Nintendo has a mechanism through which many old Nintendo games can be legally enjoyed for $20 per year. Maybe you think $20 per year is too much for 100+ classic Nintendo games, but that’s what they’ve offered. If you prefer to acquire ROMs for free

Find a damn way to build a service that lets them do that instead of suing people for it.”

I’m sorry, but I don’t agree. The PS5 is their fastest selling console. Even if scalpers have 20% of the units (one guy estimates 10-15% from pulling EBay, StockX, OfferUp, Facebook, etc data), that means there are roughly the same number of PS5s sold directly to users as there were PS4s at the same point.

Here’s some information about many people’s hero’s road to not getting the record:

Weird, I didn’t know my typing was making so much racket. As for private, you’re free to not read other people’s comments, because I’ll continue to comment here.

Enjoy fapping with your parents tonight.

So November 2011? ;)

This doesn’t make any sense. Burbank mostly submitted records that he had previously had or that were currently tied between two players. If this is a truly competitive field, others should have already been trying to beat all those records as well. As such the difference between dropping times all at once or

Take a breath champ. I did not say there “should” be a unified champ but rather that there would never be one without this type of action. And to be clear, I don’t really care about “video game records” because it just doesn’t interest me, and that isn’t the only way to enjoy video games.

Who’s the target audience for a compact luxury car? It’s a badge on a Civic that was owned by rich kids or kids who worked to put every penny they earned into that badge on a Civic. Also Acura isn’t a performance brand, so what hope is there that this will be an exciting car?

And when was the last time a Nintendo game came out with game-breaking bugs? I’m sure there has been one, but it’s not like everyone else who yells Geronimo and launches whether the product is ready or not.

Between the SNES and the Switch I only had the Wii briefly because I never had time for more than one console, so it’s great to be able to play the games I missed out on in that time. Even though I don’t spend much time alone with the Switch after finishing BOTW, it definitely gets a lot of time playing with the kids.
