They were almost all original, but the magician sketch first appeared when Blake Shelton hosted. No clue how it got brought back.

Rob Klein/Bryan Tucker, they've been head writers since season 39 but probably didn't have as much power as Jost since he's been there forever.
He already did, the problem now is Chris Kelly/Sarah Schneider still aren't the head writers.
the jost/che era, ladies and gentlemen.
She's been on This American Life a few times and she's always really good.
The gigantic upswing in competence when Strong and McKinnon are the only ones in a sketch is always astounding. That cold open didn't have much going for it besides the Missy Elliott tribute, but it was still nice to see a sketch executed so confidently/adeptly.
A worse fuckup came from McKinnon tonight tbh. In that Game of Thrones pretape she totally fell out of the accent she was supposed to be doing for like 20 seconds.
Al Franken will be the next great Jeopardy! champion:
It took them 2 more seasons, not 30. Goldsmith had a personality instead of idols, though.

I feel like the editors kind of realized after a few episodes that Jason's mostly just a blandly unpleasant dud full of stock lines. His edit's plummeted in such a hilarious way.
The way that they've spent months and months turning Paige into the Scrappy Doo of the women's division is absolutely baffling. What a waste.
I agree that Paul Rudd should be involved in the production of Justice League.
"Zimmer AND Junkie XL? This is gonna be great!" said someone bad at making predictions.
Until this episode the feminism/women's empowerment angle hasn't been telegraphed too overtly, but it's been omnipresent all season. The women's alliance getting mentioned way more than it probably needed to be, the editing of Aubry's panic attack and her overcoming it, Alecia's storyline and the hero music that ended…
