Looking back on it this season has had a ton of that, as well as setting up story lines and then completely abandoning them, and continuing to be pretty gross when it comes to screen time for men vs women. The pre merge was fantastic for the most part, but once there's some distance from this season I can't imagine

I wonder what percentage of Spencer's confessionals this season have been bland "I'm such an underdog" ones.

Slade brought piss to a shit fight.

As part of his last will and testament, he'll insist that Deadshot replace him as Detective.

Diggle's giving him like three more episodes before digging into that.

With that new mask he's unrecognizable. He's fine.

Based on Sara and Nyssa I feel like Felicity could go over to the ninja HQ and be running that place in a week.

"You're so much better than my son, god that guy sucked" was such a good asshole moment.

It's the most "will you guys just bone already" pairing since Josh and Donna on West Wing. Which I guess is fitting since Felicity is basically the CW's Donna Meagle, right down to the actress taking a small part and forcing the show to notice her.

At first he was just announced as a writer, maybe it would've been a better idea to keep him behind-the-scenes for a season or two. It seems like it's always tough for stand-ups to figure out their place on the show, at least compared to the people that come from improv.

I like to think that she's actively rooting against his success on this show. She doesn't even try to do a fist bump anymore.

I wonder if that breaking nudes gag was Colin Jost's big attempt at winning over the audience.

The Spencer/Malcolm comparison is just as ridiculous as the Malcolm/Ozzy comparison Jeff kept trying to force into being a thing. Malcolm probably cries a little when he hears either.

I'm not saying he was right or wrong to do it, but his thought process at the time made complete sense considering the way everyone was approaching the game that season. Calling it a blunder is like saying Ian quitting was a blunder. Was it dumb to do? Sure, maybe, but they knew exactly what they were doing.

It wasn't really a blunder, he knew exactly what he was doing.

I love the end of Update where it gets more and more awkward every episode. They don't even do a forced fist bump thing anymore.

I hope she turns into the Rickety Cricket of Arrow.

It has to be some intentional game between a couple of writers who completely hate Katie Cassidy for some reason.

The writers must have realized that Emily Bett Rickards is way better, even though her name sounds like a bird, so they made her the lead actress and started putting even less effort into writing for Katie Cassidy. They just need to make that final push and have a building fall on Laurel or something, but maybe

/r/survivor flipped their shit over that and I wanted to go lick the tears off all their faces.
