Instead of preordering a game you don’t care about, why not just wait a few weeks before buying it to see what the general consensus is?

I’m in the same boat as you.

Pretty sure it means you start off exploring an open world, and then later on you are funneled through more traditional “zones” (like, say, FF10) in order to focus on story progression.

I don’t think we know yet whether or not you can backtrack to the open world parts from that point.

Personally, I tend to lose focus…

Ah, didn’t know that! Good point there. And even more worrying!!

What worries me about this game is that Type-0 did the same thing.
