So much of the shift to the practitioner drives me nuts. They can’t be responsible for everything- managing every aspect of the patient’s care and analyzing all data and having integrated systems with every single other system and talking to all the doctors etc etc.

I just want to say, I work at a healthcare quality non-profit and we are doing our best to make sure this doesn’t happen. EVERYONE deserves quality, affordable care- not just ‘access’ to it. Is your brother dual-eligible for Medicaid/Medicare? There might be a way at the state level to make sure that care is covered

And in case anyone is concerned- ducklings can hop pretty well so the ramp to ledge will be fine. They have a harder time getting out of water though, so the ramp is particularly helpful.

I never get Trump the benefit of the doubt, and I’m not even doing that here, but I think he really DOES believe that he can give “insurance for everybody”. He just has no idea how or that the current plan really doesn’t do that because he didn’t read it. But I do believe he wants to do that because he knows that is

It’s the hardest lesson to learn. I have anxiety that often manifests itself in obsessive behaviors (I drink too much water [yes it’s possible], I crack my fingers constantly, and I pick at a spot on my scalp until it bleeds) so its not like I’m perfect at that mantra. But it has helped me realize that controlling my

Omg same. Diagnosed and semi-treated (hard to explain- but it being covered woulda been helpful! I had to be treated for “general anxiety” and “nutrition deficiencies” instead) with anorexia years ago, but still struggle. And one of the biggest shames I had was that I couldn’t properly purge- which I saw as ideal

I never ever wear undies while working out. I wear those running shorts with built in undies and never wear them twice without washing. For yoga pants, no undies, never wear twice without washing. I never get UTIs in them and I used to get them ALL THE TIME- specifically in college when I’d work out and go to class

I can think of about three republicans in my entire company and I know the one (who is actually a VP) voted for Hillary anyway. Even if someone is republican-ish, they are still down with the ACA. We are a private non-governmental company though so there is an argument that the less regulated, the more business we

I work in healthcare quality and I don’t even talk about my job because its impossible to explain because healthcare is so fucking complex. Which you’d know. Even if you didn’t read the ACA, if you look at it, it’s really really really long! AKA COMPLEX. And that’s just the ACA! There’s so many other laws! And

I met him extremely randomly a few months ago. Def not as tall as his IMDB page says he is. He was also wearing a velvet tux and he let me pet it.... then later I learned who he was after I introduced myself (I was very drunk, asked to touch tux first, name later).
