I have to say, as much as I’m not a huge Matt Damon on diversity fan, I trust Zhang Yimou on this one.

I don’t remember a scene in It’s a Wonderful Life when George Bailey is celebrated by the people of Bedford Falls for starring in a movie as a racist DA, but who am I to decide whether or not something is Capraesque!

You are in fact the one who is wrong, since “Reindeer Are Better Than People” is objectively the best song in Frozen.

Picturing Liz Hurley sitting sadly, watching her family eat pizza, while eating a dry piece of toast and a parrot mocking her intermittent moments of joy maybe one of the funniest things I’ve done today.

Patiently waiting for the post discussing Rory & Paris as the forever couple. It’s the truest love story, really.

Ugh, no, Marty is the OG Nice Guy and his arc in Season 7 is SO BAD. Paris + Rory 4eva though, and then Rory would finally have a career too because there’s no way Paris is putting up with any scrubs.

What about Tristan? It’s probably his baby.

Right there with you. I don’t know what people were expecting. If you want a show about hard-done-by characters who rely on their wits to survive, go watch Shameless. Or Game of Thrones, for that matter. This show has never been about that. It started off as basically a fairy tale, the story of a beautiful, innocent

Oh my god, she’s totally going to have that baby and then give it to Logan and Odette to raise so that she can stay in Stars Hollow and and work at the Gazette for free and make fun of Michele with her mom. Rory is the WORST.

I get so irrationally mad about Logan. Like Dean can’t help it, he’s a human golden retriever. Logan is a scumbag! And of course jess was a dick in high school - his mom is Liz and he had to move into Luke’s weird loft/den/apartment thing. Jess was so broody and hot and then followed his dreams and then grew up.

Jess can brood and read sullenly in my corner until I’m ready for him. The other two? No.

Just give me more Mitchel...

TEAM JESS FOR LIFE

I am beyond super biased, but I really liked it. Gilmore Girls was my door into fandom, which has brought various people into my life. I also lost my grandfather and my job at the same time about 18 months ago, which has lead me into living with my grandmother, so the death stuff struck a chord. It was cathartic and

One thing that’s actually huge is home schooling. There is a huge homeschooling lobby opposed to any kind of real oversight of how kids are being taught, or if they are learning anything. This would potentially give children a right to an education, so they are opposed to it.
Yeah, same thing as Michigan here, pretty

Ok guy, be for real. Were you doing a silly walk? An intentionally silly walk? Like the moonwalk? Or the jitterbug? Or the wah-toosie? Were there children around? Were you walking particularly liberally? energetically? terroristically? Could your so-called “walk” be an interpretative dance to encourage women to take

I think it’s because medicine has gotten so advanced that it’s infringing on our bad habits and calling us out on them and can prove its point with scans of your declining or improving condition as you ignore or follow advice.

Depression is something anyone can get. Bad enough breakup, divorce, death of a loved one, trauma... and anyone on the planet can get it. BUT those forms of depression are only temporary, eventually one moves on.

THIS. I had a conversation with a friend yesterday and basically shut down his “medication doesn’t work” nonsense.

I was on a date with a woman and we were talking about how I take antidepressants. She asked if I’d tried “healing my depression through alternative medicine”. I told her, “no, because if I tried ‘healing my depression’ through ‘alternative medicine’ my next step would be painting the walls with my brains.” I have
