I really thought Squirrel Girl was cute, but it also seemed painfully self aware as a quirky queer underdog book. Speaking as a quirky queer underdog, that makes me uncomfortable.

Eminem was ok when he was first hitting the scene. New and special in his own obnoxious way. But when he came back after his little stint of silence, it was like "Oh yeah, THIS guy." Like I forgot how much I did not miss him angrily yelling over a once nice song. I'm so done with this dude.

Homophobia isn't just about homosexuality. It can also be about the ways you think about closeness to other members of your gender.

I oftentimes get a homophobic vibe off of the shit she says about other women.

Simpsons references ftw!

I have no idea. I loathe that woman.

I'm kind of excited about it. So long as Carol Danvers and Jessica Drew are still besties, I'll be just fine.

Mine wasn't really a quote, so much as a sign. It said "Sneed's Feed and Seed, Formerly Chuck's."

This is a great list. Lots of great picks. I couldn't disagree with any of them except maybe Tennants. I always felt like his best episode was always The Family of Blood.

"And that was the third homeless person Mark blinded…"

You know, I used to think I was good at Tetris. Then I watched this.

I found this movie to be incredibly predictable from beginning to end, but I wasn't really all that upset about it. The trans aspects of this film seemed more for the sake of plot than representation, but that didn't really bother me either though because it wasn't exploitation. At least they humanised the characters…

This just made me feel ill to read.

Who told you? Oh. Wait.. You didn't mean me.

WHY IS PAUL F. TOMPKINS MAD AT EDWARD FURLONG?!

Jesus. I thought that was a picture of Paul F. Tompkins.

I gotta say, I really enjoyed this film. The odd framing during the first conversation between Whitehead and O'neil that makes them look like they're standing back to back was strangely compelling. I can't say I've ever seen a scene of dialogue shot in such a manner.

He's a genie that comes out of a boombox. What's not to get excited over?

I was talking about Shazam. :P

Well, with Black Adam being played by the Rock, may as well have another comical athlete play Shazam with Shaq. Also, changing his race would piss off people who complain about affirmative action, which I'm all for.
