I'm finding Tokyo Ghost very enjoyable, for both the art quality and vision behind it. Though I guess it's something of a late-comer and I don't think it's quite hit its stride yet.

Also, the guy fighting the Blood-Starved Beast up top really should have had a gun out. The thing is a terror but severely open to a riposte.
The snatchers and the Gaol were a great touch, but nothing was nearly as scary as the forest. Because that's another rock-solid horror/survival 101 rule broken: never go into the forest at night. Even Harry Potter had this rule down.

I wondered about that trap door there, especially since Byrgenwerth was such an important place in the story yet contained so very little interactive content (unless you've got a thing for fly-people and vagina bugs).

Though the character archetype Patton Oswald fits into is no surprise, but be it an entire Borg-esque collective. That's another new, creative angle I don't recall seeing before despite being just a side-note/joke. It's all a beautiful trainwreck you don't feel the least bit guilty for staring.
