Oh Sean Bean, the Kenny McCormick of Hollywood.

Well, seems like an interesting experiment in both A.) Turning a one-to-two picture meme with minimal captions into a feature-length film, and 2.) Actually giving up the game when a smash-and-cash-grab film openly admits itself.

Grumpy Cat wouldn't care, which is kind of the whole joke the movie itself tried to convey, and apparently succeeded.

"I wonder if Kuvira’s forces destroying spiritually charged natural
resources in mechsuits is a deliberate homage to James Cameron’s Avatar."

Or a big shout-out for Berserk. Desperate people sacrificing their loved ones to maintain their dreams and ambitions, then watch the sacrifices get torn apart and devoured by horrors who are actually other people who've made the same deal, then they themselves become a twisted monstrosity in the form of a gross parody

Every clone/teleportation device needs to have one of these installed:

Or that it was Fry, Zapp, and Farnsworth, but not as we've known them. It really underscored just how much Billy West *was* Futurama. By no means to detract from the rest of the fine talents, but damn at how talented and varied West can be.

Very good point.

Oh come on, it at least deserves a B- for Varrick's creative interpretations, topped off with the shapely Spirit-Giant Bolin.

I've felt for a long time now Bender should be just another resident of
Springfield, even prior to this episode. No reasons, no explanations, no
strong reactions, just there inexplicably being an alcoholic,
whore-mongering, kleptomaniacal robot living in town as if he'd always
been there.

You really need to listen to your lyrics more closely lol. Hearing the song by itself, sans imagery or context (song or band itself) I think it'd come off as just an obtuse quasi-70's/80's getting-through-the-drudgery anthem. The video has a tick to it though - the wide-eyed, serious/crazed look of the girls (and

I've never had a celebrity death hit me so hard. I've never had a celebrity death make me cry.

Don't forget also that the original 1990 TMNT movie was independently produced - and is also the top-grossing indie film at $133m. Though it certainly rode in on the fanbase wave after years of comics, cartoons, and toys to get there. Playmates, who made the toys, refused to do so for the 1990 movie due to them

In 2012 JDM told EW that he'd love to come back 'if approached'. Robert Singer said early last year that he's 'discussed occasionally' but [JDM] is 'always unavailable' (at that time due to Magic City, which has since concluded). It does seem like a dismissal, and could be bad blood? We can speculate all day. I think

I will say the Dean becoming Demon Dean was a slight did-not-fully-see-coming; I was expecting some sort of last minute demonic collusion that might end with one of the two brothers with Crowley/under thumb, but it does kinda work since this is an element Dean remonstrated way back when prior to going to hell;
