Did you complain when Activision and EA bought all those smaller developers? Or when Sony did?

Activision Blizzard has proven to be an extremely toxic company that has taken advantage of their employees in disgusting ways”

on one hand I 100% agree Monopolies should be avoided when possible, on the other hand Activision Blizzard has proven to be an extremely toxic company that has taken advantage of their employees in disgusting ways and Microsoft is the only company that has both the capital to buy them and the track record of actually

I find it ridiculous that the CMA can argue that this deal would hurt competition while continuing to allow Sony, the market leader to practive anti-consumer anti-competition practices. If they don’t want to approve the merger, fine. But go after the market leader and their practices of making third-party games and

I finished this last night, and I’ve decided that Forspoken is a pretty great game sabotaged by tons of bad decisions. The core is great and I love playing it, but they made a lot of odd choices that are just bizarre, and it felt like they collapsed the back half of the game into 2 hours and had to cram a bunch of

Destiny 2 is a game for Destiny fans who never stopped and no one else. New comers and returning players(me) can’t hope to break into this niche game, without handing over a small fortune to do so. Have fun with your new expansion though, no saltiness intended.

There’s not a shadow of a doubt in my mind that, even if Forspoken had turned out to be a really solid game all the way through, it’d have been completely brigaded by the GamerGate crowd literally just because black woman.

I really like Forspoken. But it’s a case where the beginning of the game is just markedly worse than the mid and especially the end and you really do need to stick with it.

The beginning of the game is where the story is least interesting, the main character is most dislikable, you have limited combat options and they c

Jeeze, way to make the best news all year sound so negative. Should probably just link to the article you’re quoting if you’re going to ignore the easy to understand language in next part of their blog post:

“Paul, who’s been on something of a redemption arc these last few years following the “suicide forest” fiasco in December 2017"

What possible sequence of events could have occurred for you to put forward the suggestion that Paul has been on ‘a redemption arc’ beyond the bare minimum of not going back to a suicide

understanding why a person might pay for art is not difficult, lmao.

Fascinating, but what I really need to know is what Amouranth is up to?

I once gave a retro streamer $20 to help pay his cat’s vet bills. Pretty much the same thing.

BTAS was such a revelation as a kid. My dad even loved that show and would watch it with me. It was so cool when he kept voicing the character, especially in the Arkham games. It really lent this feeling of continuity and gravitas to the character...you just felt like he WAS Batman.

I briefly encountered Kevin when I was working the autograph lines at MegaCon this May. He spent hours signing things and speaking to fans tirelessly without letting his (then unknown to the public) illness get him down. A true pro to the end.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Conroy.

Mark Hamil Said it best
He will always be my Batman”

I”m with you. I deal with enough frustration for 10-12 hours at work every day. Video games are my method to relax. If the game gets too frustrating, it’s not serving its purpose to me anymore.

And that’s nothing against the “Get gooder” crowd.  Some people play games for a challenge, and I appreciate that and am glad

That’s something I do as when if I’m replaying a game I’ve beat before. Like, I just want to play through some of the cool story bits again real quick; I don’t want to spend hours grinding a boss or challenging section of something that I’d already beaten once years before. I still try to stick with ‘normal’ for games

sometimes you gotta. I got to the final sequence of Death Stranding and was like “OK, let’s just wrap this up” and did the final two bosses and trek on Easy because I was kinda just ready to wrap it up lol.

I’ve been playing some games on Easy difficulty lately, otherwise I would never play them because there’s enough games I don’t have the time for something that takes a lot to get through.
