Yeah, but when you’re rich, you can afford another baby.

touching on Apple’s “simple life” in Los Angeles of hanging out with her best friend, her dog, and her best friend’s dog.

I wish that the media would quote the lazy corrupt racist orange santorum-covered enemy of the people directly more often. Too often they try to create coherent narratives out of his rambling, dissembling dreck.

Hunger Games style. Pay-per-view. Proceeds fund nonprofit organizations that help asylum seekers.

It makes me so sad that there were probably so many bubbly JVNs in the 80s and early 90s who got the same news at 25 and didn't live to see 30. Thank goodness (science) for HIV/AIDS research.

Dion first met her husband and manager, René Angélil, in 1980, when she was 12 and he was 38

It completely baffles me how some Christians think the Bible gives them permission to be completely hateful. Did we not read the same Bible???? I am so confused. Oh right, Jesus says “Love everybody...except those sluts over there and the gays and the trans and the pores cuz they deserve it.”

I had the best time recently when man told me to smile! First of all I’m in my sixties and thought I was past that shit. I also have cancer and don’t always feel so hot. I was on my way into a dispensary recently and some guy told me to smile and I just roared ‘YOU smile, motherfucker!” It was the best!

“But the guarantees of free speech and freedom of religion are not only for those who are deemed sufficiently enlightened, advanced, or progressive. They are for everyone.”

That first one pretty much already happens. Catholic hospital doctors refuse to provide reproductive services to women. Pharmacists refuse to provide the pill to patients, all on the grounds of ‘religious liberty.’

I think - especially if you live in that area - it would be a great thing to maybe put the flag on your page .. just a little something to let people know you don’t stand for the BS and you would be happy to have them as clients.

Up next: Doctor refuses to treat patient on grounds of “religious liberty”. Patient dies. Only mechanic in town refuses to fix car of gay man. Cites “religious liberty”. Only grocery store in town refuses to allow only gay man in town to shop there. Cites “religious liberty”. This was never about wedding cakes and

I have the same question. It seems that making custom items is what these cases have in common. I think (not a lawyer) that being “forced” to use your freedom of expression for something you don’t believe in is not conscionable (I think?). The cake person and the invites people seemedto have no problem selling any

That case is different because it did not relate to a wedding cake for a gay couple getting married, but rather to a cake reading “Support Gay Marriage” for an activist group. There is a distinction to be made between refusing to provide someone with a normal every-day service solely by reason of their sexuality, and

Exactly, I mean I too am excited to stop our slow slouch forward and instead return to needing to have guides like the Green Book so that we can all know where our kind is and is not welcome.

Assholes love religion because it gives them a seemingly legitimate excuse to be assholes.

As a wedding vendor I would like to go on the record as saying that same sex discrimination of clients is absolute bullshit.

Hands off the face, human.
