Why can’t he write a will leaving his estate to his step-daughter?

You make an excellent point. I also doubt any former landlords would remember me, and that’s a good thing. There are some relationships where “I don’t recall” equals success.
We had a beloved teacher leave and her replacement was from Ohio. We would chant “why-o why-o why-0 did you ever leave Ohio!?” at him. OMG we were so mean.
What a hero. I’m sure you mean well but all of those things are the default for women, while men can say “see, I do things!”.
I fear there will be a flood of shows about this shitty time and that’s a hard pass. Who the hell wants to relive this nightmare? Maybe in 5-10 years but not any time soon. Read the room, people.
Maybe not those interviewed, but some Dr.s are for sure doing house calls or opening the office privately. Addiction plus money = shady doctors/beauty specialists. The doctors interviewed obviously aren’t going to say “For $10k I’ll give a filler in their driveway”.
I’m glad I didn’t have kids for various reasons and always wince at “who will take care of you when you’re old?” reasoning for having kids. I say this only for me, I would not want to live unable to care for myself. Death is far better than that. Oregon, take me away.
I’ve never once heard anyone criticise elder care workers. They are held in very high regard in my experience. Unless you mean passive disdain in being wildly underpaid?
How can Natalie pay shithead $60k a month if she’s not working? What an abusive piece of shit. I don’t see why the album can’t be released though. Because they can’t promote on the Today show or Jimmy Kimmel? We need good music more than ever right now! I pre-ordered the album and am disappointed but I’ll enjoy it…
Never been but I hope they make it!
I never thought about it but I have the same experience. At one place I go to every Saturday, and occasionally during the week, I’m definitely a regular and know everyone. Drink in progress as I take my seat, share pictures of dogs, etc. But others I frequent it’s like a new start each time. I don’t take the first…
Interesting take. Regulars are human and some humans suuuuck. Many are awesome. If you are always having bad experiences with regular customers, the common denominator is you.
My heart aches for my beloved restaurants and servers. I miss them so much, a literal ache. Living in a food city, SF, is just....heartbreaking. Please forces of good get us through this.
What does science say about the experience of 5 Americans and their carry-ons fitting into a ten foot space? More efficient doesn’t account for much when I’m shoulder to neck with 30+ people in a small space. And joining the line at the last minute is next to impossible, especially if you’re on the window side of the…
Thanks, it was pretty bad. And very much the same as previous experiences from the 90s-2010. My thinking SW sucks doesn’t affect your ability to roam about the country with a happy sing along crew. Enjoy!
I hadn’t thought about who Issa was talking to in that first scene. Just assumed it was any friend, a way to lay out the season’s premise. But yeah...there could be something there.
Maybe not rude but inconsiderate for sure. And asking Molly if she’s ok with it....what else is she going to say but yes? If I’m meeting a friend, taking time and making the effort to be somewhere (when not going anywhere is wildly preferred), a surprise guest sucks.
The “we can hang up now” call with Lawrence’s sly smile made me howl. And the in-person “I’d like (Condola) to get to know me through me” was heartwarming and kind. I love the energy between Issa and Lawrence. There will always be sweetness there and it doesn’t have to be bitter. It’s mature and generous, not many…

I’m from Dallas and the novelty of all, the FREEDOM (to move about the country) and cheerfulness was all so shiny in the 90s. So I remember why I loved it as a teen and broke-ish 20something. Now, I’ve flown SW once in the past ten years. One flight within TX that detoured and delayed and the annoying ass flight…
