@Scarbane: Screw the picture, I want my thousand words.

@Koda89: Maybe. Child of Eden was certainly hyped as a Kinect game, but definitely allows controllers as well.

@Koda89: I've seen it described as that by blogs, but the only direct quotes I found from Microsoft or Futatsugi described it as a "Kinect game", not necessarily a Kinect-only game.

Has Futatsugi announced that this game would be Kinect-only or something?

/me hopes for head-tracked point-of-view rendering.

As an Australian, I absolutely can't handle it when foreign actors try and fail to do an Australian accent (it just sounds stupid) - but I have less problems with Australian actors attempting American or British accents, even (perhaps especially) if they slip back into 'Strine.

@capeo: Dude, relax. It's just a different perspective, don't take it personally.

@Alex Winton: They've always said it was supplementary. Even MS realises that virtually all traditional game genres require instant, precise, physical input, i.e. buttons - they're designed that way.

@Odin: "Kinect is not an 'or' technology, it's an 'and' technology"

@DragonTHC: Most cameras have IR filters over the CCD so that they don't capture light we can't see anyway.

@Me_rock: Ah, there's the BlubberyDragoon!

@thunderous_funker: For those people, they can simply get whatever's listed in their Marketplace - no fuss, no problem. If somebody tells them about a cool new app that their phone is too old to run, they do without until they can buy a newer phone, just like with any other phone. At least it's clear with Android

"Google's Corporate-Standard Tax Evasion Practices Screw the Government (And You) Out of $1 Billion Every Year"

Troll article is troll.

@thunderous_funker: "compatibility matrix"? The Android Marketplace automatically filters out any apps that aren't compatible with your phone, based on OS version & hardware; if it's not compatible with your phone, you won't even see it.

@screemname: Good news! Johnson's approach works with any temperature gradient, including geothermal. And no moving parts!

@gonzilla: My point was, experiences do vary; you can't generalise. Many people have no problem with shuttered 3D (I don't), and my eyeballs feel fine.

Why bother trying to carry weapons on board? Just buy a bottle of duty-free vodka.
