exactly this.  dropping steel plates is a no-no and this kid should know that.  nothing about his form was bad at all, but if you’re gonna drop weights, they need to be bumper plates. 

agreed. he wasn’t grunting. he reset his stance each time, and he was filming himself to work to continue to improve his form with his coach. nothing wrong here, other than doing this lift in a gym that doesn’t really support deadlifts.

Hate to go “DO YOU EVEN LIFT BRO” on here, but the guy can handle the weight just fine as he achieves lockout each time on his deadlift. Maybe slight rounding on the lift but nothing dangerous. When the weight is that heavy it perfectly acceptable to drop it that way and just start your setup over entirely as the form…

People film themselves working out to learn about how their body moves / to perfect their form. Its not always about the IG likes. Go back to Planet Fitness if that bothers you.
