Yes! A couple really good friends of mine (married grad students) are dorky with generally great senses of humor and good tastes in most movies, books, and TV shows. But they really like BBT and have never watched Community. (The fact that it's not streamable on Netflix hinders their viewing.)

Yeah, they aren't going to have a lot of comedies they can bring back. Whitney, Guys with Kids, and Up All Night will be gone. 30 Rock and The Office are on their last seasons. I'm guessing 1600 Penn and Save Me will bomb, considering how spring premieres haven't worked for any of the networks the past few years.

Ratings haven't been that low though. Yeah, last week's ratings were terrible, but the show has been drawing around the NBC network average. TVBytheNumbers has had it as "likely to be renewed" all year.
