@Timmy: missing /sarcasm ?

@Arken: Actually , 802.11a is faster at shorter ranges , and uses the 5.8Ghz band (a = 54Mbps in 5.8Ghz, b = 11Mbps in 2.4Ghz, g=54Mbs in 2.4Ghz)

@NagaJolokia: that was "short supply and the " sorry for typos

I thought 802.11b was quickly used instead of 802.11a because the first series of chips for 802.11a were in shourt supply and thye cost was higher at launch.

@Itz James: Wish i knew. Ubuntu is a good distro , so is fedora , or Slackware .. its just a personal choice.

@aec007: 31 inches ... not 15

@ss3: HA , yes , thats if you dont use software raid . It may be a bit slower if you dont have the processing power , but you can do a USB raid that way. Or if you use the pcexpress port , im sure you can do a FIREWIRE800 raid.

@Congrats! you win the interweb.: Check on the web for googles first servers/clusters .... it looked like that. rackmounts with motherboards screwed on cookie pans.

@shooga: Brute force on algoritms usually dont work. they propably use some sor of AES256. 256bits ... imagine the number of possibilities and time that would take.

"Using 35 years of Google-donated CPU time" i'm not sure i understand this part .. 35 equivalent years (to what?) , or 35 real years ? Unless i'm mistaking ... 35 years ago Google wasn't donating server time , it didn't even exist yet.

@jgarcia_14: This could easily be tweaked with a mesh-like (or honeycombed , holed , whatever) steel sheet , with a silent fan at the base. And i would use rack-mount rails with slide-able trays for the A/V equipment. But still a nice idea.

@vein11: the world needs more red-haired glasses-wearing cute chicks

@Insecur1tyGuard: Routers can have modems in them. but here im guessing he's talking about an ethernet to ethernet router.

Bhaaaa, this would have been more interresting if it was made for high voltage cables.. (110,220V ).

@y8s: Funny , actually i thought these would be like a plane HUD. see thru with only highlights

Hum , i see 2 benders !
