Those two could have voted no when this was in committee, and it wouldn’t have come to the full Senate for a vote. This was a calculated move to make them appear more centrist while still betting able to confirm DeVos.

Protests tomorrow and Monday in Cleveland

Women’s March in Columbus, Ohio last Sunday. After we gathered, we circled the Capitol building. Everyone was so nice and kind. I was heartened to see many children there. I wish I could have gone to Washington today, but I had to work.

Yep. I’m not supposed to be contagious any more, and my eyes are much better, but I really hope I didn’t spread it to anyone.

Oh my god, that’s terrible! Fortunately, mine will turn out too be no big deal, and I didn’t have to wait long to see the doctor. Unfortunately, since I don’t currently have insurance, it’ll cost a lot for a few minutes of time.

It was my birthday yesterday, and while it wasn’t the worst it could be, it wasn’t the best. I’ve been sick since Monday with a sore throat and swollen glands. Glands are covered in white spots, ears hurt, etc.
