Unfortunately, my family is not close, but I do have roommates. I just told them yesterday. It was hard, but I knew I needed some backup. I’m glad you have supportive family members nearby. Your partner sounds awesome!

That’s a good point. I guess the show will be taking a different track than the comic. Also, Claire in the Netflix shows is kind of an amalgram of two different characters: Claire Temple, who is a black doctor who dated Luke, and Night Nurse.

In the comics, Claire Temple dated Luke Cage long before Jessica Jones was created. (They dated back in the 70's.) Luke and Jessica are currently married with a child. There would be no issue with a prequel series in which Claire and Luke are dating.

It makes me so angry when these Republican politicians talk about arming themselves against the threat of ISIS. You know who is not under immediate threat from ISIS? You! You know who is? The people who are being murdered, tortured, and raped in the Middle East, aka the people you want to turn away from our country…
