Try Waid’s run from the early 2000’s. Hickman’s run was popular too, but his writing is a little dense for me at times, and I didn’t get the family feeling that I got from Waid. (That said, Johnny’s death and resurrection was awesome.)

I’m responding to myself rather than the person in the greys who thinks they’re probably being caused by black vandals (for some reason).

Sure thing.

Some people seem to be discounting the possibility that the church burnings are hate crimes because they think that would mean there’s some conspiracy to burn black churches. I think you’re right, these churches are probably being burned by individuals who are all motivated by the same hate, but are not working

White supremacy is the poison that sparked black people’s anger, resulting in the destruction of the Quiktrip and the CVS.

:) DFTBA

T’Challa was introduced and named before the Black Panthers came to be.

Oh my God what

:) If you wanted to make them feel better, you could tell them that the Pope is only infallable in certain rare circumstances, like when he speaks “ex cathedra.” Pope Francis has never done so. (Of course, as “good” Catholics, they should know that already.)

.

God, why do they do this to John? I haven’t been on tumblr in a while, but it seems every few weeks they decide to freak out on him. And he was almost universally beloved before TFiOS became “mainstream” popular.

It was the same way with my sister. She actually lost weight after she had each of her two kids (I mean she was thinner than before the pregnancies).

You’re thinking of Ultimate Peter Parker and Miles Morales, who took on the role of Spider-man in the Ultimate Universe.

That’s Iceman. He wears a bandana with an X on it.

It’s Karnak.

Unless I’m mistaken, Ultimate Daredevil is dead.

Aw, I like Reed. But yeah, he’s often (not always) written as a jerk, particularly in books other than the Fantastic Four.

Oh, I remember 8-Bit Theater! Good for him.

“the truth, which to Christians is the Bible.” Ugh, no, fundamentalist lady. Most Christians do not believe the Bible is the literal truth.
