I almost agree with you. I do prefer the Wii's disc games over any other current-gen's consoles, but I have to say the PS2 library absolutely crushes the Wii's (or any other) in terms of variety x quality. The DS is the closest library to rivaling the PS2, but even it's maybe a bit over half as excellent.

I have not noticed any difference between them either. There is a difference on PS3 when playing Blu-Ray movies due to the HDCP bit thingy, but not for anything else.

Astroboy: TOF is top notch. Also, they did a Tiny Toons GBA game that plays quite similarly. It had some weird crap go on with its release, but you can find copies on eBay. I think it's called Buster's Bad Dream. Worth checking out...and it is much more challenging than you'd expect a Tiny Toons-branded game to be.

I'm with you. I can't wait until they put Link in a space marine uniform and render the world in 12 million shades of brown.

The Oracles are great, but I think Minish Cap is my favorite Zelda since OOT.

Yeah, but Americans tend to worry about how the dollar is faring against real currencies.

So people are just always supposed to give you cool stuff for free?

I was really into my Genesis, and was very skeptical about the SNES being able to pull it off, too. I played my buddy's copy on day one, then immediately drove 50 miles, without a license, to buy an SNES and a copy.

I'm with you, although I have to say Karate Champ and Yie Ar Kung Fu are both quite a lot better than SF1, and are actually still pretty fun to play.

Yeah, I dig it, too. I just got Ridge Racer, and it looks amazing.

Yeah, if I hadn't played it already, I would've picked it up. It is a very good game. I will probably go ahead and pick it up at $20 and play it again.

It's not that it's much bigger, just that it's higher res. The top screen is a bit wider due to new aspect ratio, but the bottom screen seems same size to be (Resolution upgraded from about 240x192 to about 320x240)

Then don't buy them. Nintendo doesn't need your money.

But if you didn't have a Gameboy before that, why not play all the awesome games that were already out for it?

Exactly

I smurf the smurf outta some smurfs.

Break a law, get dealt with. Don't like the law, then move or fight to change it. Simple as that.
