You just don't know how wrong you are, it's so rare already and will be unreachable expensive already in couple of years. It may look far from elegant, but it's quality built and quality designed. More than enough to invest into it. It's just not for penis-size-concerned people.

What's great about GT86 is that it's cheap and generic - as AE86. In my opinion it's much more honest, German approach to automobile design.

Initially hardtop in '64, they added the iconic 'fastback' version later. Last 2 generations weren't 'hardtops' in that view.

What's meant there was that it's NOT 'notchback'-coupe like this:

I think in 1990 it was around $4,000. That makes around $7,000 today.
