Why are we comparing apples (no pun intended) to oranges? Subsidized cellular phone from an MNVO carrier vs. a smartwatch?

I just don’t get this complaint. An unsubsidized phone is 2-3x the price of a watch, yet we expect a wrist-bound device in a quarter of the form factor to be at feature parity with it? It tells the time, it has “lite” app functionality, fitness tracking, notification/call forwarding. It’s not a phone replacement nor…

As an owner of one, trust me, it’s not that big of a deal ritual-wise to take it off at night before bed, charge it on the nightstand and have it serve as night-time / alarm clock.

The first 3 episodes are decent. It really hits its stride in episode 4. As the poet Homer once said, that’s when “you strap yourself in and feel the g’s!”

This is likely straight up heresy, but I kinda wanted to hear Michael Giacchino take a whack at scoring Star Wars.
