Well, they probably won't do this ever, but you never know. They could make a baseline like their "nexus" line of android phones for Chrome OS. The equivalent of the barebones, Google-approved dev version.
Would have rather it focused on Mars, considering how much of a little inside-joke it is inside the ME universe: that we first developed FTL from Prothean tech discovered there and ditched Mars instead of terraform it.
