She was always a better radio guest than a standup. She was always pretty funny when she was on O&A, trying to get famous enough to start getting on Stern so she could stop associating with O&A.

For those who always wished for a Wolfram and Hart spinoff show that focused more on the business side of evildoing.
They missed what would have been the most interesting interview: Anthony Stewart Head.
(it took me a while to like Hardwick, though - I remember Singled Out…)
I agree with everything you've written (only, I like him in suits…) He is what Tonight-Show-Fallon SHOULD have been.
I found a lot of new funny people on @midnight, too. I'll always be grateful to them for Flula Borg, Ralph Funches and Kyle Kinean, among others.
On the other hand…. Doug Benson. So maybe 'always' is…
Carrie, that wei…
Nope.
Riff Randell, Rock-and-Roller.
They never seem to be in the same place at the same time, which is too bad; I think all she really needs is a good, decent man in her life.
And for people to use coasters.
Can someone PLEASE do a video clip of scenes from this with the Dick Van Dyke Show theme music as a bed?????
But the show took elements from the movie and incorporated them into television successfully. Some things that didn't play well in the movie popped in a shorter, smaller format. Without Xena it's possible Buffy wouldn't have been given a chance as a tv show based solely on that movie.
Hell, that show even had its own Whedonesque quippy 4th-wall breaky thing going on in the later seasons. I'd argue that from a television standpoint Xena is Buffy's mom.

Dammit why are all the guys like this married????!!!
If you're reading this thread and don't yet listen to Storywonk's fantastic 'Dusted' podcast, I urge you to check it out. These are the smart fun people you wish you had around to discuss the show with, without a lot/too much of 'wow thank goodness men and women are more enlightened now' societal commentary (I hate…
I binged Angel. Kept waiting for the good parts. Saw them eventually, and some were fantastic. Would have made a decent 4-season run.
I didn't watch when it was first on and always thought it was some kind of Dawson's Creek thing (I was, am, a generation past Dawson's…whenever my roomate was watching and I caught a glimpse it seemed like someone was sad about a guy or everyone was posed interestingly in the library talking and being much younger…
The movie was fun right when it came out but it was 'a different time' back then. Thankfully there were enough elements worth keeping and using as a basis for a show really worth sticking with to the end. Not every crap episode has something like a buff Nick Brendan in a Speedo but there's usually at the least some…
Maybe we'll finally learn what the deal was with Glory and Ben.
I still drink nothing but Taster's Choice.
