The hot tub scene. I did something I haven't done in a VERY long time; I jumped.
I like this.

Dancing Spiderman / Stormtrooper

I was going to check out the first episode today before doing random day-off chores. EIGHT HOURS LATER…..
Really dug it in all its It/Stand By Me/Goonies/Close Encounters-ish-ness. Excellent music, great 80s callbacks, props and tropes, and the acting was great across the board. I also liked that most/all of the

Not nearly enough!!!

In my household, growing up, 'Anti-comedy' was Three's Company. Mel Brooks, Norman Lear, Barney Miller however….
Not being able to laugh at oneself and others in a friendly way is a skill that I'm convinced has contributed greatly to the general pissyness of society these days and has resulted in this type of stuff.
(I

There's a book, but it's not jam packed full of fun like the magazine was each month (a lot of text which is fine if it was balanced with a lot MORE stuff from the actual magazine. Which it isn't.) Creem needs the Chronicle Books treatment; little envelopes with neat things tucked inside, lots of vintage photos and

The Del Fuegos for Budweiser back when I was in school…. "(we play) 'folk music;' it's music for folks!"

He DID say that when a live show is cancelled/postponed it's like a snow day from school. He came across as pretty satisfied with life and enjoying his kids' forays into standup. It's too bad no one could ever quite figure out what to do with him outside of SNL.
He also said he'd like to do a podcast. Of course he

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Tyrion was NOT in love with Dany but just, you know, really respected her and found her a source of hope as just a fellow person, with romance not being an influence?
Hey and by the way - Yara too.

Ever since this was announced it seemed like a fool's errand to me. How do you compete with the cinematics and story of the actual game? I don't play it any more, but it was my first (let's NOT count, uh, Runescape…) and I was already a grownup and it had so much more than any movie could.
I have to admit, I was

I miss Nuni. But not so much Nuni.
I'm out of the current music loop pretty much, and never heard of Courtney Barnett*. After that first song I cursed my age - if she'd been around when I was a little kid with crushes on boys with guitars, I would have kept the crushes but stolen the guitars…

I wish they'd skipped the opening scene so as to always leave doubt (although I suppose the opener could have been a delusion as well. Hmmm….)
I find this episode to be one of, if not THE most, terrifying. I am always uneasy watching it.

I can only imagine that Anthony Ingruber was way too good a Ford Solo for the powers that be. They must have wanted similar but not same.

Well yeah, but mostly it's the not being funny.

Jimmy Fallon still smarting from when Prince's bodyguard picked him up off that stage and tossed him across the room as far the hell away as possible. As Chris Rock laughs.
(*I prefer my alternate ending to the SNL 40 party.)

If there was ever a time for the Colbert Report to come back….
But it won't. I like Stephen and I thought I would enjoy his show from day one.
Still trying to.

I was amused by how little time everyone gave it before they all filed out. Like standing in front of the microwave, annoyed at how long it takes to pop a bag of popcorn ;-)

Jon's back, but in a strange twist his voice is now that of Gilbert Gottfried, and his personality is that of a super-psyched Jimmy Fallon.

I only have hate when Doug Benson's a guest.
